Hubo Handball won the men’s final and Handbal Sint-Truiden the women’s final of the Lotto Handball Cup. In the men’s final, Sezoens Achilles Bocholt went into the break trailing 12\u201311. Hubo Handball stepped up a gear in the second half and went on to win the Lotto Handball Cup for the first time in the merged club’s history.
In the women\u2019s final, Handbal Sint-Truiden won the Lotto Handball Cup for the fourth consecutive time, and for the seventh time in their history. At half-time, the score was 12\u201317 in favour of the Limburg side. Ultimately, Sint-Truiden won the final 23\u201327.
