On Sunday, October 19th at 1:45 pm, the Black Arrows will play their first official home qualifying match for a major international tournament. That day, they will face Germany. A few days earlier, they will travel to Slovenia to kick off this campaign. It’s a huge challenge, but also a fantastic opportunity for the Belgian handball players, who can build on their meteoric rise over the past year.

We’re thrilled to announce a brand-new partnership between URBHB and the digital platform Clubee, which will officially become our federation’s management tool starting from the 2026–2027 season. Clubee will replace BigCaptain and Nu-Score.
This transition is part of our broader mission to simplify and modernize the administrative and sporting management of our federation and its clubs. After successfully introducing the digital match sheet a few years ago, we’re now taking another big step into the future.

Sara Marteleur and Dree Riské were elected handball player of the year on Sunday afternoon at CC Hasselt. Marteleur won the trophy for the second time in her career. For Dree Riske, it is his first trophy. During the annual Player of the Year Gala, the Black Arrows were also honoured for their impressive debut season.
