YOUNG YOUNG BLACK ARROWS – 2008/2009

The Handball Federation is launching the new Young Young Black Arrows selection this year ! This selection is for girls born in 2008-2009. It is expected that the 2009 players will also participate in the regional selection.

On Monday 28 October (11h30-17h15) and Tuesday 29 October (11h45-17h15), the YYBA will organise screening days @ Sporthal Sportoase Eburons Dome, Vrijheidweg 9, 3700 Tongeren

DETECTION FOR YOUNG BLACK ARROWS

September marks the start of the season for the Young Black Arrows, the women’s national under-19 team.

We welcome our new coaches! Natasja Bekker-Kivit will be the new head coach, and Annelies Penders will take on the role of assistant coach. Wim De Grave, as team manager, and Amber Kerkhofs, physiotherapist, complete the staff. We would like to thank Hubert Maes, who has led the group for the last two years, for his work, his commitment and his enthusiasm.

YOUNG BLACK ARROWS GATHERING FOR FIRST TRAINING OF THE SEASON

The screening days for the Young Black Arrows took place on October 30 and 31. The first training day of the season starts on Sunday, November 26, in Borgloon. In December they gather in the Sports complex of Lokeren for a 4-day trainingcamp. On Friday, December 22 at 6 p.m., and Saturday, December 23 at 2 p.m., they will play twice against the Dutch Handball School GELRE.

NEW GENERATION OF YOUNG BLACK ARROWS

Led by Hub Maes and Roel Kiebooms, the future Black Arrows gathered on 31/10 in Hofstade and 01/11 in Tongeren. 40 players compete for a place in the new generation of Young Black Arrows. In December they gather again for a 3-day internship in Lokeren. Good luck to all!
