[UPDATE] OPEN CALL FOR APPLICATIONS – NATIONAL REFEREEING BOARD (NRB)

Information

The Royal Belgian Handball Federation hereby launches an open call for applications to fill positions within the National Refereeing Board (NRB).

The NRB will be responsible for the strategic direction, ongoing professionalisation, and sustainable development of national refereeing in Belgium. To this end, the federation is seeking committed candidates who are willing to contribute their expertise, vision, and dedication to the advancement of refereeing.

The Royal Belgian Handball Federation hereby publishes the list of eligible candidates for the positions within the National Refereeing Board (NRB).

The election will be conducted in accordance with the approved NRB election procedure.

Further information regarding the voting process and timeline will be communicated directly to all eligible voters.

Applications must be submitted in accordance with:

Timeline

  • Opening of applications: 20 May 2026
  • Application deadline: 10 June 2026 at 23:59
  • Closing of validation procedure: no later than 17 June 2026
  • Publication of the final list of candidates: 20 June 2026
  • Digital election: from 22 to 25 June 2026 (inclusive)
  • Official publication of results: 30 June 2026

Each application must include at a minimum:

  • a curriculum vitae;
  • a cover letter;
  • indication of a maximum of three positions, listed in order of preference;
  • a brief profile summary for publication to voters.
