To provide sustainable support to the National Federations, the European Handball Federation (EHF) has installed a strategic plan, the EHF Master Plan 2020-2027.

The Belgian Handball Federation, in collaboration with the VHV and the LFH, submitted a request for support. After some adjustments to the project, it was accepted by the EHF Executive Committee. The project involves the creation of handball academies in close cooperation with clubs, with the aim of supporting the development of talented players between the ages of 12 and 16.
